Puebla 5 Days 4 Nights
Pick up will be in International Airport Hns. Serdán or CAPU bus stations, clients must arrive before 11:00 a.m.
We will do a panoramic tour around “Los fuertes”. In the historic zone los fuertes where “5 de mayo” took place and we will have a wonderful view of Puebla.
During this walking tour you will visit the cathedral with the tallest towers in America, Palafoxiana Library, consider the fist public library in America, then you will visit the City Hall , the Rosary Chapelle consider the eighth Wonder of the World, The Candy Street where you will be able to taste different kind of candies in the city and we will visit Parian Market where will be able to buy some Mexican handicrafts .
In the afternoon we will check-in at the hotel.
We will visit Bernarda’s house, who’s the last “general” woman in the zone, in the Mexican Revolution. We will see how some handicrafts are made from onyx and marble. We will walk around the Salinas, a place built between 700 and 500 B.C. , place where people produce salt and we will taste 2 important mezcales: “Pichomel” and “Papalométl “. This mezcal is from the Biosphere Reserve of Tehuacán – Cuicatlan and we will eat local food, cooked in this area with local products.
We will visit “San Martin Obispo de Tours’ church where your guide will describe it and we will know the story of love about this place.
Return to the hotel.
During this trip we will visit “the oldest town in America”, we will visit 2 important temples; Santa Maria Tonanzintla and San Francisco Acatepec, that represent the “Mexican Baroque”, their decorations, tiles, colors and figures make those temples unforgettable. In Santa Maria Tonanzintla you will have a taste of local products: corn, ice- cream, cacao, among others and we will see “popotillo” and typical handicraft in Cholula.
Then we will visit the archeological site where we will visit the biggest pyramid basement in the world. We will climb the “pyramid” to visit the Remedios temple and then we will go to Atlixco. During this trip, we will visit the Bonsai Museum , and we will learn a little bit about this technique and art in Asia. We all continue our trip to Atlixco’s downtown where we will see; The main Square, mural, a kiosk, The Franciscan ex-convent and a wonderful view of Atlixco’s Valley.
We will visit the North Mountain Range, in the north of Puebla’s State, first we will visit Zacatlán de las Manzanas, where we will see the Jilguero’s Ravine and then we visit downtown, taste some apples, apple’s soda, sauces and breads. The convent and Saint Peter and Paul church.
In Chignahuapan, where we will see the making process of christmas spheres, and a monumental Virgen under roof of 39 feet, finally our visit will end at mundear kiosk.
First we will visit the “Hacienda de Chautla”, this ranch is from the XVII century, around that time it has different owners, one of the most important owner was Mr. Gillow , Who built a castle in the middle of the artificial lagoon. This building has been used for productions as comedies, soap-operas , and series.
Then we will visit Val’quirico, a lovely place to eat, take pictures, get an ice- cream, relax and walk. Food is not included
